Shipping policy
Freshness & Shipping Schedule At The Family Pet Table, we cook our food fresh in small batches and freeze it immediately to lock in nutrients. Because our product is perishable, we ship strategically to ensure it never sits in a warm warehouse over the weekend.
1. When We Ship

Shipping Days: We ship orders Monday through Wednesday.

Order Cutoff: Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST on Wednesday will typically ship the following Monday.

Why? This ensures your box arrives at your door within the same week and doesn't get stuck in transit on a Sunday.
2. How It Arrives (Packaging)

Your dogâs food is packed in an insulated cooler box.

It is normal for the ice to have melted by the time you open the box.
3. Do I need to be home?

No. Drivers will leave the package at your door (no signature required).

However, because the food is frozen, we recommend bringing the box inside and transferring the food to your freezer as soon as possible on the day of delivery.

We will email you a tracking number as soon as your order ships so you can keep an eye on it.
4. Where We Ship

We currently ship to the contiguous United States (Lower 48 States).

PO Boxes: We cannot ship to PO Boxes because FedEx/UPS requires a physical street address for perishable deliveries.
5. "Thawed but Cold" Policy

Our packaging is engineered to keep food frozen for transit. However, depending on the weather and shipping distance, some bags may arrive partially thawed.

The "Refrigerator Rule": If the food is still cold to the touch (like meat you would buy at the grocery store), it is 100% safe to refreeze and feed to your dog.

If the food arrives warm or at room temperature, please do not feed it. Contact us immediately with a photo, and we will replace it.
6. Wrong Addresses

Please double-check your address at checkout!

Because our product is perishable, we cannot reroute packages once they have shipped. We are not responsible for spoiled food due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
